William on Voices of Appalachia tonight
William will be on the Voices of Appalachia internet radio program tonight at 7 pm with an interview conducted by fellow author Eric Douglas. Listen in as the author of such spine chillers as “Gone Where The Goblins Go” and “She Saw Dinosaurs” discusses his work.

William to appear at WVSU EDC
I will be participating in a Creator’s Panel “Regional Independent Publishing” at the WVSU EDC www.wvsuedc.org September 9th starting at 7:15 pm. Moderating will be WVSU Professor Daniel Boyd and joining me on the panel will be Eric Douglas of Books By Eric, Cat Pleska of Mountain State Press and Keith Davis of Woodland Press.
Heavy Planet Man- out now
Heavy Planet Man, a collection of song lyrics is now available in both print and Kindle editions. Over one hundred lyrics from the varied garage, punk, surf and psychedelic bands that Bill has played and written for over the years. These aren’t your run of the mill lyrics. As it says on the back cover, “Any man who can rhyme ‘irreligious’ with ‘britches’ has got to be a damn genius”.
Upcoming book signing
I will be at the WV Cultural Center for the celebration of 150 Reads this Saturday, January 11th from 1PM to 3PM. Join me and other WV authors for book signings in the J.D. Waggoner Reading Room.
William to appear in upcoming anthology
I will have a story in the upcoming Woodland Press anthology STRANGE CRITTERS: UNUSUAL CREATURES OF APPALACHIA, out sometime in the next month or so.
I’ll be back with a definite release date as soon as I have one. Cover art is by Steven Gilberts.
Chillers 2 Out April 17
The second issue of the Ghastly and Shel Dorf nominated graphic horror anthology, containing two stories by William Bitner, will be released by Transfuzion, April 17. A book signing will be held at Lost Legion Comics, South Charleston from 6 pm to 9 pm on that date.

An update
Monster, Thing and Nightmare are now all available on Kindle. The Chillers franchise continues to garner accolades, with Chillers 2 scheduled for release by Tranzfusion sometime in January with two stories, “Live Bait” and “The Red Carpet” by William Bitner. The next collection of William Bitner short stories, Gone Where The Goblins Go, with cover and interior illustrations by the uber-talented S. R. Ayers should be out on Death Falcon Press in Spring 2013.
